Edo first picked up the guitar in 1986 and took private lessons for about 5 years. After that, he continued studying music by himself. After a while he also learned to play bass guitar and drums and developed an interest in writing and composing. Over the years he played in a number of bands, of which Jambone and The Saturnine were the most well known. Edo has always tried to keep an open mind as far as musical genres are concerned, both as a musician and a listener. He does prefer heavy rock bands like King’s X and David Lee Roth-era Van Halen. Edo likes jazz-rock too. As far as guitar players go, Ty Tabor, Chris Poland, Brian May and Alland Holdsworth are amongst his heroes. Other musicians he admires are Peter Gabriel, Ron Thal, Kevin Gilbert, Neal Morse and Devin Townsend.

Date of Birth:   September 13th

Things that I am good at: Really enjoy turning
raw ingredients into tasty meals.

Things I don't like doing but must: Pay taxes?

Something I've always wanted to to but couldn't or wasn't allowed to:  Skydiving?

If I were invisible for one day I would...
...find a nice sunny spot somewhere and take a nap.

If I could switch places with a person (historical or recent) it would be...
...I'd like to see Ty Tabor of King's X recording

I never leave the house without...
...kissing my family goodbye.

I can't resist...
...checking my e-mail every 15 minutes.

Favourite Kingfisher Sky - moment so far:
There are plenty of good moments, but the first show we did at De Boerderij was very special.

I am looking forward to...
...Recording the second Kingfisher Sky CD and playing more shows.

Anything else you'd like to say?
Hope to see you at a future Kingfisher Sky show. And don't hesitate saying hello if you see me wandering around the venue :)
